How did you get the name "Shawn"? Well I guess I was born with it. What kind of question is that anyway?
What are your interests? Besides my love for country music, I love to fish…(But I don’t seem to have enough time to do it). I love going to concerts and watching Adam Sandler films. I also enjoy watching my little girl play at the park and reading her stories. I coach and referee youth sports at the YMCA on Saturdays and enjoy watching the kids improve their skills.
Do you have a family? I have three kids, my oldest daughter Kira is 21 and a student at Colorado State University in Fort Collins…(my alma mater)… a son Zac…who is 17 and a Jr in High School, and Isabelle who is 7 ½ …(she gets upset if I just 7). All three love country music and the outdoors.
Some of your Favorite Southern Colorado hangouts? I enjoy seeing old friends at Cowboys, I love going to rodeos especially the Pikes Peak or Bust, Sky Sox baseball games, Ren Fest in Larkspur, Walking the shops in Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, and of course Garden of the Gods.

Likes?? My kids, Jesus, music, listening to stories from elderly people, football…College and NFL, Meat on a plate, An ice cold beer in a mug, comfortable cowboy boots and sneakers, jokes, and hanging with good people.
Dislikes??? Cold wet feet, sad and angry people, Drivers who take up two lanes on a road, warm beer, lousy singers, and bad Mexican food.
Tidbits… I hate losing at checkers, I love long weekends with friends and family, I love chilly cocktails on a warm summer night. I love meeting our 95-1 Nash FM listeners and keeping the party going in Colorado Springs.
